Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
An amazing fantasy, adventure, the first installment of the Lord Of The Rings film trilogy, released in 2001, is based on J. R. R. Tolkien's epic literary novels. The film, directed by Peter Jackson, is set in Middle-earth, and tells the story of the Dark Lord Sauron, who is seeking the One Ring, which is in the hands of young hobbit Frodo. The fate of Middle-earth hangs in the balance as Frodo and eight companions form the Fellowship of the Ring, and journey to Mount Doom in the land of Mordor: the only place where the Ring can be destroyed. Orlando is brilliant as Legolas Greenleaf and the film won a well deserved 4 Oscars.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
This swash-buckling Walt Disney film, directed by Gore Verbinski, written by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, is an instant classic. The tale follows the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, a savvy pirate, and Will Turner, a resourceful blacksmith in their quest as they search for kidnapped Elizabeth Swann, the daughter of the governor. Johnny Depp is absolutely fantastic as Captain Jack Sparrow and makes a great double act with Orlando Bloom. Full of edge-of-the-seat action and swashbuckling adventures, this is a movie you won't want to miss!
The Calcium Kid
A wonderful lighthearted comedy in which Orlando plays a young milkman called Jimmy, who is an amateur boxer. By a bizarre twist of events he ends up fighting the world champion in his home town. A great comedy, to be enjoyed by all.
Troy
King Agamemnon's army reveres Achilles as their greatest fighter, faster, stronger, and deadlier with a sword then all others. As the Greek's army champion, Achilles has won many battles by defeating the other country's champion. The Trojan War begins when Prince Paris of Troy takes his lover, the beautiful Queen Helen, the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta, back to Troy. Orlando is fantastic as Prince Paris of Troy and Brad Pitt plays Achilles, the legendary Greek warrior.
