Orlando Bloom Career
Orlando's first acting job was a bit part in television show Casualty in 1986, he then went on to appear in Midsomer Murders before landing a part in the film Wilde in 1997. His big break-through role was in 2001 as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings. He then went on to star as blacksmith Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl and subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including Troy, Elizabethtown, and Kingdom of Heaven. He most recently appeared in the sequels Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Orlando also recently starred on the stage, making his West End debut in Celebration at the Duke of Yorks Theatre, St Martins Lane, which ended its run on September 15th, 2007.
